Younger generations are quickly switching to voice search! Without IoT-related artificial intelligence, it would be impossible to analyze large amounts of data in a practical way. Companies like Walmart and Amazon are using IoT to control inventory and increase the efficiency of supply chains. For example, Walmart reviews 1.5 billion messages received from IoT devices every day.
In principle, the Internet of Things and AI are mutually complementary and in combination enable us to have extremely detailed insight and sophisticated interpretation of collected data, which was almost unimaginable before. This combination is known as “AIoT”. In recent years, the popularity of the combination of the two technologies has increased by more than 400%.

In 2019, only 10% of IoT projects used artificial intelligence for their development! However, as the IoT base increases, it is almost inevitable that artificial intelligence will help dissect the vast amounts of data collected through IoT devices. In addition, this data will be crucial in the training of artificial intelligence systems.
By 2025, IoT devices are expected to create approximately 73.1 ZB (Zettabytes) of data, which is about 4 times more than was created in 2019. With these vast databases, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning will be key.
