ChatGPT has completely changed the game and demonstrated the potential of digital assistants and artificial intelligence. The program was developed by OpenAI, a fairly well-known research institute that focuses on creating and developing technology based on artificial intelligence.
On December 1st of this year, they released a “conversational model” that is trained to respond to your questions at a very sophisticated level. More than one million active users are thrilled with the program’s abilities, as it is currently the strongest language communication model in the world. ChatGPT is a language model that was created for generating text and is classified as a “large language model” or LLM. Where the program differs from other digital assistants is its ability to generate responses in real-time that are not pre-programmed. It uses artificial intelligence technology to generate these responses, which allows for highly optimized data to be produced.

In the future, interest in ChatGPT technology will be huge in many sectors, especially in helping users, which is an area where a human approach is currently needed but has not yet been successfully imitated by larger companies using chatbots on their websites. Given that Microsoft is one of the main investors in OpenAI, we can expect the use of this technology or the ChatGPT plugin to be very widespread in the future. Most ‘chatbots’ are only able to answer generic questions, which only frustrates customers further, as problems are often more complex. This is where the program can make the biggest difference.
In 2016, tech giants like Microsoft, Google, and Uber already announced the great potential and future plans for the use of digital assistants or ‘chatbots’, but there has been little progress since then. So the evolution of communication between people and computers has accelerated with the release of ChatGPT technology and currently has no competition. The first users of the technology have already demonstrated how capable this plugin is.

The plugin is currently not able to answer questions that are based on new data or does not have access to more recent data on the internet, as its development ended in 2021.
If you want to test the ChatGPT plugin yourself, you must first create a profile on the OpenAI website (https://chat.openai.com/auth/login), where you will have to confirm your email and phone number, after which you will be ready to use the plugin.
The conversation interface with the platform is minimalist, operating on a similar principle to all chat applications, with the difference that you are talking to an artificial intelligence program here, which does not produce generic responses.

The program is not only intended for explaining things like Google, but you can also use it as help for writing emails, creating ideas for article content, renovations, poems, and many other options, which can save you a lot of time. It is currently in the testing phase, so the number of options depends on the ideas of the users.

To create a new conversation, press the ‘Reset Thread’ button in the top right corner, which will erase the current conversation and create a new one.
The program is trained to reject inappropriate user requests and thus reduce the potential for harmful information. For example, if you ask what is the best way to intimidate someone online, the program will reject the answer and continue explaining why intimidation is wrong.
The development of ChatGPT was based on a combination of machine learning and human interaction, where in the initial phase of the program’s learning, people played the role of human and the role of digital assistant, demonstrating to the artificial intelligence the structure of responses that people prefer.

It is currently only available in English, so you will have to communicate with it in English, but the future looks bright in terms of the daily use of artificial intelligence to optimize daily activities.
